3D printing of a metal housing for electronic components

At the request of a microelectronics manufacturer, we 3D printed a metal housing for an electronic component configuration. One of the advantages of metal 3D printing is the ability to produce parts with sharp internal corners. Making sharp internal corners using conventional manufacturing methods is difficult.

Printing material: metal powder for 3D printing PR-H15N5D4B produced by Polema JSC. The case wall thickness is 0.5 mm. The layer thickness is 50 microns.

The advantages of metal 3D printing: when producing products in small quantities, the cost and production time is significantly lower than in conventional manufacturing. Using metal 3D printing, you can get a ready-made prototype or a final product in a few days or even a few hours after hitting the print button, regardless of the complexity of the part.
